In an effort to continually improve safety and security measures at Calhoun County ISD facilities and events, Calhoun County ISD is implementing a Clear Bag Requirement for events held at Sandcrab Stadium.

Beginning on October 4, 2019, bags brought into Sandcrab Stadium by spectators during events must align with the Clear Bag Requirements.

See Sandcrab Stadium Clear Bag Requirements and Exceptions here.

No bag, including clear ones, should be larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. All bags brought into the stadium will be thoroughly searched.

At this time, Sandcrab Stadium is the only Calhoun County ISD facility requiring that bags be clear and within size.

Over the years, a variety of safety measures have been put into place to help make Calhoun County ISD facilities more secure for our students, staff and community. Clear bag requirements have been adopted by many public venues as a best practice for safety.

For additional information about the Clear Bag Requirement for events held at Sandcrab Stadium, please review our Frequently Asked Questions or contact the Calhoun County ISD Athletic Office at 361-551-2696.
